From immersive tech start ups to cross-sector collaborations, the Coventry and Warwickshire Exchange brought together the region's brightest creative and digital talent for an afternoon of connection, inspiration, and well-deserved recognition.
The Delia Derbyshire building at Coventry's Hyperstudio buzzed with energy on 23 April as the CWX Expo 2026 brought together the region's creative and digital community for the culmination of two remarkable years of the Coventry and Warwickshire Exchange programme.
Funded through Innovate UK's Launchpad initiative and delivered by the University of Warwick, CWX has spent 24 months supporting SMEs at the forefront of immersive and digital creative technology — and the Expo was the moment to celebrate exactly what that support has made possible.

Exhibitors filled the Expo floor with demonstrations spanning virtual reality, immersive storytelling, digital fabrication, and more - a testament to the depth and diversity of creative tech talent thriving across Coventry and Warwickshire. Attendees had the chance to connect with founders, experience live demos, and discover projects that are already making waves far beyond the region.
Awards were judged independently by an external industry expert, ensuring the recognition carried real weight and credibility. The room erupted with warmth as each winner was announced — a reminder of just how much this community has grown in confidence, ambition, and reach over the past two years.
